Microsoft’s Wedge Mobile Keyboard is a smart but frustrating device. It connects to your PC or tablet via Bluetooth, but it doesn’t come with a dongle, so you’ll have to make sure that whatever you connect it to is Bluetooth-enabled before use. Its light and compact design makes it perfect for tablet users on the go. Unfortunately, we found that typing for long periods of time on the 257x101mm keyboard soon became a cramped and uncomfortable experience, so it isn’t as good for long periods of use. It also comes with a rubber cover that can be used as a stand for your tablet, but this picked up so much dust that it made the keyboard look considerably less stylish.

Sadly, we found that it repeatedly disconnected and froze for moments at a time. It worked better when connected to our iPad, but we’d prefer to use our tablet’s onscreen keyboard rather than this. If you have an iPad, consider our Best Buy-winning Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad instead.
