I have recently brought the BDP3000 and are quite satisfied with its performance and C/P value.

Some of the negatives stated by the reviewer may not be valid any more:

1) Dynamic range compression feature is provided in the way of the "Night Mode" setting

2) With the lastest firmware update, media contents can now play through USB storage device.
