Acronis launches True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack
Posted on 4 Nov 2009 at 10:52
Acronis has launched True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack, an add-on for True Image Home 2010. It adds functions which have previously been reserved for Acronis' corporate applications: the ability to restore their data, applications and even whole operating systems to hardware that's different from that which was used to create the backup.
The Universal Restore component ensures that you can easily replicate your applications and data on a different computer if your original is lost, damaged or stolen. It doesn't matter whether the new machine is a different make, model or specification.
Plus Pack also supports dynamic disks, which means it can handle multi-partition and RAID configurations, as well as allowing partitions to be quickly resized. Finally, it brings support for WinPE (Windows pre-installation environment) and allows users to install the latest Microsoft drivers, applications and plug-ins more easily and quickly, speeding the recovery process.
You can download True Image Home 2010 Plus Pack now for £24 including VAT, but it requires True Image Home 2010 standard edition to be installed. This costs £31 including VAT from Amazon.
