Panasonic has just announced what it says is its most advanced premium compact camera to date - the Lumix LX7. It has a new 24mm Leica DC Vario-Summilux lens, a 10.1-megapixel high-sensitivity MOS sensor and the new Venus Engine 7 FHD.
You can set the aperture up to F1.4 and Panasonic says its 24mm wide angle lens will let you take "stunning, true-to-life images with outstanding crispness and clarity."
The LX7 has a 10.1-megapixel sensor and 24mm Leica lens
Its 10.1-megapixel sensor has an ISO range of 80-12,800 and lets you shoot Full HD 1080p footage at 50fps in AVCHD Progressive or MP4 format.
The Lumix LX7 is priced at £449 and is due for release in September. We're looking forward to getting our hands on one to give you a full review.
