Asus showcases new range

Asus has unveiled a host of new products, including a wireless controller, two new Eee PC netbooks, an HD capable Eee Box, a touchscreen PC, and a keyboard with a PC integrated into it.
Eee Stick
Asus' answer to Nintendo's Wii remote will work with any PC, using a Bluetooth connection, but there's a lack of compatible software. An Asus spokesperson told Shopper that there are a few Linux-based games that will work with the controller, but don't expect anything as advanced as games available on the Wii. Asus hasn't revealed pricing for the Eee Stick, but said it will be available to buy "very soon", and it is also exploring the possibility of bundling the controller with its next Eee Box desktop PC.
The latest Eee PC is largely similar to the Eee PC 1000H but has slightly-faster 1.67GHz Intel Atom N280 processor (the 1000H as a 1.6GHz N270). It also has an improved keyboard with spaces around the keys, which the company claims makes typing easier. According to Asus, the 1000HE has nine-and-a-half hours battery life. It will be available to buy at the end of March 2009, and will cost £329.
Eee PC T91
Asus has also unveiled a prototype of a touchscreen netbook Eee PC, the T91. The 8.9in tablet netbook is just 1in thick and weighs less than 1kg. The netbook is expected to be launched in June 2009, and will cost around £420. Asus told Shopper it plans to follow up the T91's launch with a 10in touchscreen netbook later in the year.
Asus launched its Eee Box PC B202 desktop PC in 2008, and the B206 is largely similar, except it has an HDMI port integrated into it. This means that you can plug the PC into your LCD TV more easily. It is available now and costs £290.
The Eee Top ET1602 is an update to the company's existing touchscreen desktop PC. Asus hasn't divulged the PC's specifications aside from revealing that it has a 1.3 megapixel camera and microphone. No launch date or pricing for the PC has been confirmed yet either, but as soon as Asus announces further details, Computer Shopper will let you know.
Eee Keyboard PC
Asus claims that the Eee Keyboard PC can turn any plasma or LCD TV into a PC. It has a 5in touchpad, and connects to your TV wirelessly using a technology similar to Bluetooth, called Ultra Wide Band. The keyboard weighs less than 1kg, but Asus has not yet revealed when it will be launched or how much it will cost.
