Verdict:

Exceptional photo and video quality, nippy performance and lots of creative control – as close to perfect as we've seen from a compact camera

one question

I got one, maybe silly question about sample photos taken in analyses from NEX 3, and Panasonic GF5. Are they in same pixel sizes? I mean, LX7 have 10 MPix, and Nex 3 have 16 MPix.
If these photos here are representing the maximum resolution each of one of them, that's even better for the LX7 results.

@panonski

The sample image that compares the LX7 with the GF5 and NEX-F3 shows each shot at 1:1 pixel ratio (when you click to enlarge). So the other cameras make up some ground by having more pixels overall, but the LX7 still comes top in this test by my reckoning.

-> even better then

So, these camera with 10 MPiX beat up Sony Nex with 16 MpIX? :)
I spot this LX7 when it arrived, and I must say - my RICOX CAPLIO GX 200 must go to another pocket :)
