Our Rating
With its silver finish, the 3000 looks the business.
Installation was easy and the Logictech QuickSync software is very similar to the that supplied with the 310, making this an easy device to use. There's plenty of other software too, including MGI VideoWave SE for video capture and editing and Digital Radar II for surveillance.
The 3000 performed exceptionally, giving superb frame rates and image quality. Its built-in microphone worked well, and made captured video a lot more interesting.
Our only criticism was the stand, which couldn't seem to keep the camera rock-steady. It's not the cheapest webcam either, but if you want the best quality it's well worth the extra expense.
