This frame has a built-in temperature sensor and comes with a wireless temperature and humidity sensor, which you mount on the exterior of your home.
Both feed information to the digital readout beneath the main display. While amateur meteorologists will love it, we feel the readout distracts from the photos.
The display isn't up to much. We could see shimmering in parts of our test images when viewed up close, which is unacceptable at this price. Resolution is relatively low and there was a lack of contrast. Colours appeared dull.
The menu system isn't any better-looking, though it is quick to react to your inputs. The frame can be mounted on the wall in portrait or landscape orientation, but you can't adjust the orientation of photos. There's no on/off timer, but thankfully it uses only 4W of power.
It may have some interesting weather features, but the XSU-00770B is expensive for a frame with such poor image quality and a limited specification.
