Our Rating
Kodak's EX1011 is bigger than its SV811 and also has wireless networking.
You can stream pictures from any UPnP media server, or allow friends to upload pictures directly to the frame through the Kodak Gallery website. This makes it a perfect gift for relatives who live far away.
Apart from its wireless functions, the frame works in the same way as the SV811, with the same menu system, options and 128MB of memory. It has two USB ports: one for attaching storage devices, and one for connecting the frame to your PC as a storage device.
The large 10in display is bright at its default setting, but we lowered the brightness to improve its already respectable contrast. As the resolution is the same as the SV811's, it looks more pixelated close up. At times colours were oversaturated, making skin tones too red.
With its big screen and wireless networking, this is a bargain. However, its occasional colour problems prevent it from winning an award.
