Panasonic launches Viera HD TV range for 2010

Another series is the D28. This includes 37, 32, 22 and 19in IPS LED LCD TVs. The 37 and 32in models have a Full HD resolution and a dynamic contrast of 2,000in,000:1. They also have Viera Cast. Meanwhile, the 22 and 19in models have 720p panels and come with an iPhone/iPod dock that makes it easy to play back stored music, still images and video. Models are available in white, purple and silver.
The Viera D25 series comprises 42, 37 and 32in IPS LED LCD TVs. There's little difference between this and the D28 series, save a slightly different base design.
The G20 plasma series replaces the excellent G10 series and comes in 50in, 46in and 42-in models. These have Panasonic's NeoPDP technology, just like the VT20 and V20 models. Again, there are also LCD models in the G20 range, but these occupy the lower end, with 37in and 32in models that have a dynamic contrast of 100,000:1. They still get Viera Cast and an IPS panel, but not LED backlighting.
The S20 plasma range includes 50in, 46in and 42in models. These are Full HD, as you'd expect, but don't have Viera Cast. The two S20 LCD models are 37in and 32in.
Finally, there's the C20 LCD series, available in 32in, 26in and 19in models, with dynamic contrast of 40,000:1. These are the budget models, and have no networking or Freeview HD.
All Viera models have SD card slots for viewing photos or videos. The 2010 models can also play MP3 files. Many models have two USB ports and are WiFi ready, allowing you to plug in Panasonic's WiFi adaptor for wireless Viera Cast access. Photos, video and music stored on a USB memory stick can also be viewed. More interestingly, the USB ports also allow recording to an external hard disk, turning the TV into a PVR for little extra cost. Of course, files are encrypted and can only be played on the TV.
