LG Flatron L1510S review
Verdict:
Don't tell anyone, but I'm in love. The object of my desire is slender, sophisticated, and impossible to ignore. Sadly, it's a flat-panel display - not much use for hot dates and canoodling.

Our Rating
Despite being a 15in display, the silver LG is surprisingly petite. It stands only 427mm high, is 412mm wide and only 160mm deep. This makes it an ideal display for small desks.
Its picture quality is very difficult to fault. Geometry is naturally perfect and razor-sharp across the whole screen. It you look very hard, you can find very minor grumbling points. There's the tiniest amount of misconvergence, with blue and red lines just detectable either side of white lines on a black background. That said, you'll have to go looking for it.
Occasionally there's also a small amount of wobbling in different areas of the screen. This can be attributed to the picture signal being converted from digital to analogue by the graphics card, and then from analogue to digital inside the flat panel. All this conversion inevitably takes a small toll on image quality. Pressing the Auto Adjust button usually cures this small glitch.
The Flatron coped well with fast-moving images, too. This is noteworthy, as budget flat panels often struggle with action-packed games and movies.
My only real criticism of the LG is that it doesn't have a DVI connector to enable you to connect a digital graphics card for perfect image quality. That said, it's hard to fault the LG at its bargain price of £275.
