Samsung NX100 shots leaked

Pictures of Samsung's entry into the mirrorless compact camera market have leaked out, revealing a curved body design and the NX interchangeable lens system.
Originally spotted by DPReview forum user Alex Ramos, the leaked pictures show that Samsung's next entry into the mirrorless market will be called the NX100 and will apparently ship with a 20-50mm NX-series kit lens.
The camera is Samsung's third entry in the NX series, following the launch of the well-received NX10 and cheaper NX5 cameras earlier this year.
Specifications of the new camera, thought to be due for official launch at Photokina in a few weeks, were not available as part of the leak: it is thought that the NX100 will be based around a CMOS sensor at a resolution of at least 12 megapixels, and record to SDHC or SDXC cards, but these features have not yet been confirmed.
The validity of the leaked press shots have, however, been confirmed by Engadget, which has posted images of a white-body Samsung NX100 sent to it by an anonymous reader who verified that the mirrorless design allows a live-view video mode and stated that Samsung would also be shipping an external GPS unit for automatic geotagging.
With the mirrorless camera market hotting up, Samsung's NX100 is going to have some real competition on its hands when it launches later this month.
