Samsung releases NX10 interchangeable lens camera

CES 2010: It's been a characteristically busy show for Samsung with virtually every division of the company releasing new products in time for the show.
Samsung's camera division has released a number of new models, including a couple of new DualView compacts (the TL210 and TL205), but the most interesting new addition to its range has to be the NX10 mirror-less interchangeable lens camera.
Dubbed a 'Hybrid DSLR', the NX10 wraps a 14.6 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and an eye-level electronic viewfinder with a VGA (640 x 480) resolution into a relatively small body measuring just 121.9 x 86.3 x 40.6mm without a lens attached.
It also includes a 3-inch AMOLED display on the back, which promises lower power consumption, wider viewing angles and higher contrast than traditional LCDs.
Samsung says the NX10 boasts one of the fastest auto focus systems in its class and has an impressive ISO range of 100 to 3,200.
Sadly, Samsung has decided to eschew the increasingly popular micro four thirds mount in favour of its own proprietary system, which rather limits the range of lenses available at the moment, but Samsung says it's making a big investment into this new NX series of cameras. There are currently three different lenses available: an 18-55 F3.5-5.6 kit lens, a 50-200mm telezoom and a 30mm F2.0 pancake lens.
Samsung hasn't given much detail on pricing and availability, only going so far as an ambiguous 'Spring 2010' ship date.
