BluStreak masters Blu-ray on the Mac
Posted on 22 May 2009 at 12:27
Rivergate Software has released new Blu-ray mastering software for the Mac, claiming that it is the first application for OS X that enables a complete workflow from video and audio capture to creating a BD master for replication.
BluStreak Premaster enables the correct formatting of Blu-ray content for large-scale manufacturing or replication of both single- and dual-layer discs. It includes support for full AACS copy protection (DRM) support.
Automatic checksum generation ensures data integrity and the software can also burn playable BD and DVD discs for testing.
It will accept content from any BLu-ray authoring tool, including Adobe Encore CS4 and the Roxio Toast.
BluStreak Premaster is available for an introductory price of $299.
