The ReTrak Retractable 1080p HDMI Cable Multipack consists of a 1.5-metre HDMI wound around a sort of yo-yo. You simply pull the HDMI cable to extend it and press a button on the middle of the yo-yo to retract it. We had no problem extending and retracting during use.
In addition to the cable, the pack also contains a DVI convertor, a mini-HDMI convertor and a micro-HDMI convertor that you can clip on to either end of the HDMI cable. This means you can connect your laptop to your DVI-only monitor and that you’ll never have to search mini- to full-size HDMI cable again, which makes it a convenient product, especially for camcorder and Ultrabook owners.
If you really need a compact HDMI cable for everyday travelling, the ReTrak Retractable 1080p HDMI Cable Multipack is for you, but we think it’s far too expensive for most uses.
