Boogie Bug Blade Series LED 120mm review
Verdict:
Pumps the most air of any fan here, but is noisy, and the speed control is a bit of a gimmick.

Our Rating
Boogie Bug Blade Series fans come with a speed control knob mounted on a backplate. The LED models come in a choice of blue or white, and also include a Molex adaptor and anti-vibration silicone mounting pins.
The speed control knob is only sensitive in the middle third of its range, so you should be careful you don't turn it down too far. At its highest 2,400rpm speed, it pumps an amazing 20.3L/s of air per second, at the cost of increasing the noise to a loud whoosh. However for short periods, or when you're wearing headphones, it's acceptable.
While it's hard to make direct efficiency comparisons with other fans, the fact is this fan pumps the most air per second at its highest setting. The speed control is a bit of a gimmick, and it's not the quietest fan, so it's not ideal for a media centre PC. The Zalman ZM-F3 LED is much better value, however, so the Blade Series misses out on an award.
