It's inexpensive and can automatically control three fans, but the display is tiny and has poor viewing angles

Our Rating
The FP52S is one of the cheapest fan controllers yet it has a cool-looking blue LCD display which shows the time, and date plus the temperature of three different probes. Strangely, instead of reporting actual RPM of the three fans you can connect to it, it shows an animated fan that corresponds to the rate the real fan is spinning. Stranger still, there's a built-in alarm clock.
Unfortunately, the screen is miniscule and viewing angles are poor. We're not entirely sure why SilverStone has included pass-through cables for connecting the case's power button and and hard disk indicator, as while these are displayed on the FP52S's screen, there's no need for this.
If your PC has just three fans, the FP52S might be a good choice as it will automatically control their speed according to temperature. You can set temperature limits at which the alarm sounds, but the two buttons mean this is fiddly. If you have more fans, it's worth spending a little more.
