Our Rating
The OrthoMouse is a mouse to help those who suffer from RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury). It's designed to hold the hand in an ideal position so that the fingers are at rest rather than hovering over the mouse buttons, and the thumb is in a naturally opposed position to the fingers. It keeps your hand off the surface you put the mouse on, so you're forced to use your arm for movement.
For everyday office work, the OrthoMouse is amazingly comfortable - even though it might attract stares from colleagues due to its unusual shape. Instead of a wheel, it has two thumb buttons for scrolling, and has a leather-like finish that's meant to reduce sweating and aid grip. It comes with three optional rear casings and two upper attachments that cater for different hand sizes, so we feel it's better value than the HandShoe.
