This shot isn't particularly badly framed, but we need something suitable for the cover of a gardening newsletter, and the picture is the wrong shape. Using the Crop tool in Paint Shop Pro 7 (or most other image editors), we can experiment with different crops. After dragging out a rectangular box, dragging on any side will move it without changing the other sides, while dragging within the bounded area moves the whole selection around. When the crop looks right, double-clicking applies it. We can always use Undo if it's not quite right.
