Colin McRae: DIRT review
Verdict:
It's fast, furious, and gorgeous to boot. Needs a top PC to do it any justice, though.

Our Rating
As the latest game in Codemasters' superb Colin McRae series, DIRT has a lot to live up to.
And for the most part it's one of the best yet. DIRT is the first in the series to branch out from pure rally action, adding off-road buggies, vans and souped-up trucks. Racing is fast-paced, if not entirely realistic, and progressing through the championship races is thrilling for beginners and experts alike.
Graphically, DIRT is one of the best-looking games out. Even the menus are rendered in gorgeous 3D. The downside is that you'll need a seriously beefy PC to see DIRT at its best, and loading times can be painfully long.
