Probably the world's most popular PC racing game - for free.
Posted on 11 Apr 2008 at 20:28
Trackmania Nations is among the most popular racing games ever. With over 30 million downloads it has certainly grown beyond its original cult status. For those who haven't played it, the game revolves around time trials on inventive and often acrobatic courses.
One of Trackmania's main draws is its huge community of dedicated fans and its excellent track editor. This gives players an almost unlimited selection of tracks to race.
The latest free version of the game - Trackmania Nations Forever - will be available for download soon. It will include 65 brand new tracks, a solo player mode, and a new track editor. This will then be followed up by a fully-featured retail version on the 23rd of May.
Download the free game at www.trackmania.com from April the 16th, and we'll bring you a full review of the retail version in Shopper 247.
