With video games developers taking action against consumers who illegally share their games, Shopper took a look at some of the best the web has to offer.

This game is one of the most played online games around. Its played on a set map, resembling an office desktop, where you stop a number of "creeps" from infiltrating your desktop space.

A simple, but very addictive game. Just chip the ball towards the flag. Sounds easy doesn't it?

Live out your fantasies of becoming a Stunt Biker, without putting your neck on the line! This compellingly addictive game is full of challenging levels, but is very easy to maneouvre and great to play.

Yeti Olympics

It seems Olympics fever has reached all the way to Antarctica. This hilarious game involves Yetis creating their own Olympic Games, including events such as Pingu Throw and Orca Slap.

Represented by a combination of stick-figure graphics and intensely funny text descriptions, Kingdom of Loathing is an online adventure game that fits in references to everything from Monty Python to prog rock to hacker culture.

The Last Stand

Play as the last man on Earth taking a stand against a world full of zombies in this thoroughlyy satisfying shoot 'em up.

DHTML Lemmings
A golden oldie. Lemmings first hit the scene on the Commodore Amiga in 1991, but you can take a trip down memory lane with this online version.

Pocket Tanks

Pocket Tanks is an artillery game that's easy to learn, but fun to master. The game is not technically an online game, but it is available to download for free.

Zombie wars
