Aspyr has opened an online games store, selling Mac and PC titles to download.
GameAgent launches with just two Mac games - the shoot-em-up Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare at $54.99 and futureU, a $39.99 US educational tool. Other titles, as yet unspecified, are in the pipeline.
DRM ensures that games are locked to the Mac on which they are purchased.
GameAgent also provides update information and news about forthcoming releases and promises the occasional special offer. It also offers an Extended Download Service “insurance policy”, which for $4.99 will let you re-download a game for up to two years after purchase.
