Posted on 5 Feb 2010 at 15:11
London's Millennium Bridge, popularly known as the Wobbly Bridge, will be swamped by Star Trek fans on Valentine's Day to mark the launch of the Star Trek Online video game.
Namco Bandai, the distributors of Star Trek Online, hope to set a world record for the largest gathering of people dressed as Star Trek characters. The publicity stunt will take place at the Millennium Bridge on February 14th at 1pm. The best dressed Trekkies will win lifetime subscriptions to the game, as well as digital copies of the most recent Star Trek movie.
Star Trek Online is a massively multiplayer online role playing game set in the popular Star Trek science fiction universe. Players will be able to command their own starship to engage in space-based action, as well as beam down to strange new worlds. We'll bring you a full review of the game as soon as we can.
