Monkey Island 2 special edition rumoured to be in development

Following the success of the special edition of The Secret of Monkey Island, LucasArt's is rumoured to be gearing up for a makeover of its sequel, Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge.
LucasArts is likely to announce the game at next week's Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco. As with the recent Monkey Island special edition, we can expect Monkey Island 2 to be re-released with improved graphics and voice acting, while leaving the incredible blend of puzzles and storyline alone.
Released in 1991, Monkey Island 2 was groundbreaking, as the story is told out-of-sequence like a Tarantino movie. It told the story of Guybrush's attempt to find the treasure of Big Whoop and destroy the Ghost Pirate LeChuck (again).
It's an incredible game and we even voted it the best adventure game of all time.
