Logitech Cordless Rumblepad II review

Verdict:

Review Date: 22 Jun 2005

Price when reviewed: inc VAT

Our Rating 4 stars out of 5

Like the P3000, Logitech's cool black pad is also wireless - but rather than coming with rechargeable batteries, it's supplied with two plain old AA Duracells.

The matt black finish feels pleasant to the touch and the Logitech's button and thumbstick layout is the most similar to the classic PlayStation 2 pad. Still, it was slightly cramped to use, and the shoulder buttons are too easy to tap by accident. Excellent force-feedback offers a wide range of rumbles and vibrations. However, for the money we prefer the Saitek P3000, even if it lacks the force-feedback feature.
