Microsoft updates Office for Mac
Posted on 9 May 2007 at 10:06
Microsoft has updated Office for Mac 2004. The free update is a 59.5MB download, which enhances security and stability, and fixes vulnerabilities in the office suite.
The vulnerabilities would have allowed attachers to overwrite the contents of a Mac's memory using malicious code.
The update applies to various editions of Office 2004, and stand-alone versions of the products that make it up, including Office 2004 Standard, Student and Teacher, and Professional Editions, as well as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Entourage 2004.
The update requires Mac OS X 10.2.8 (Jaguar) or later. It can be downloaded from here.
