Roxio opens new box of Popcorn

Roxio has announced the UK release of Popcorn 3, the latest version of its Mac software for recording and copying video content.
With new time-saving features designed to streamline and simplify workflows, Popcorn 3 has universal encoding technology that supports conversion of video for DVD as well as a consumer electronics devices such as iPhone, iPod and iPhone, Apple TV, BlackBerry, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and EyeTV support.
Features include Batch DVD-Video Conversion so that users can queue multiple DVDs for burning with Roxio's Fit-to-DVD technology, and Pause and Resume buttons that let users to suspend a disc copy or video conversion project, work on a different task, then resume when convenient.
To reduce time spent on multiple conversions and to ensure end-results meet expectations, the software's Video Quality Preview tool lets you review a snippet of converted video to check video quality prior to beginning the full encoding process. And Popcorn 3 supports Elgato's Turbo.264 for faster video encoding.
Popcorn 3 can now create DVD's up to four hours long, using fewer discs to record more data more quickly.Customised disc labels can be created with the bundled application capable of printing directly onto discs in LightScribe enabled burners and media.

Popcorn 3 is a universal application with a suggested price of £34.99. Previous owners of Toast and Popcorn maybe eligible for special upgrade pricing.
