HTC Desire HD photo leaked

An image of HTC's up-coming Desire HD Android-based smartphone has been leaked, revealing further details of the as-yet unconfirmed device.
Posted on the UWants Forum - via Engadget, the image is described by user "21." as an "engineering prototype" of the Hong Kong Edition HTC Desire HD.
The image - if it proves to be accurate - confirms certain rumoured details about HTC's latest Android-based handset: the screen in particular stands out as being particularly sizable, and while exact dimensions are hard to guess it certainly looks close to the 4.3in display that was originally rumoured.
Missing from the pictured design is the trackball which was originally considered to be a selling point for HTC: instead users will simply tap and drag on the display to scroll.
Unfortunately, no image has been posted of the rear of the device - meaning there's no way to confirm whether the rumoured 8.1 megapixel camera has made an appearance.
Details from the settings screen on the image posted also reveal that the device is running Android 2.2 - the very latest version of Google's mobile platform, and one which brings a raft of improvements over its predecessors including support for mobile wireless tethering and Adobe Flash technology.
With no official confirmation from HTC that the images represent the HTC Desire HD, details such as pricing and an expected launch date are not yet available.
