Expert Reviews Awards 2012 - the winners

Last night saw the third annual Expert Reviews awards ceremony. There was a fantastic turnout and we would like to thank all the nominees for making it to London for the event. However, there could only be one winner for each category - read on to see who won our coveted awards this year.
The first set of awards were voted for by Expert Reviews readers, who decided the best PC and laptop manufacturers, specialist retailer, web host and broadband supplier:
PC Manufacturer
Chillblast - the bespoke PC manufacturer produced consistently brilliant PCs throughout last year, including the excellent Fusion Vantage.
Laptop Manufacturer
Acer - Our readers loved Acer's laptops for their value and plentiful features. Our current favourite is the Aspire V3.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7 - With exceptional photo and video quality, nippy performance and lots of creative control, the Lumix DMC-LX7 is as close to perfect as we've seen from a compact camera.
Digital SLR/CSC
Canon EOS 5D Mark III - Canon's latest DSLR is a photographic tour-de-force - the EOS 5D Mark III is a fantastic piece of kit that was very hard to give up at the end of our testing.

Panasonic Viera TX-P50VT50 - the Viera TX-P50VT50 has fantastic image quality, excellent 3D and smart features that make it the ultimate plasma TV.

Intel Core i7-3770K - Beyond improved desktop performance, Intel's Core i7-3770K showed us that Ivy Bridge is a real step up in terms of graphics and energy efficiency too.
Software
Serif MoviePlus X6 - With precise, efficient timeline editing and superb preview performance, Serif's MoviePlus X6 gets the most important things spot on.
Innovation award
Orbitsound T9 - Orbitsound created a miniature marvel with the T9 soundbar, producing stereo sound without the sweet spot that sounds fantastic from anywhere in a room.
Storage
Synology DiskStation DS413J - The low-cost, four-bay DiskStation DS413J has all the powerful features of Synology’s more expensive products, at a fantastic price.
