FileMaker, Skype add Leopard support
Posted on 5 Dec 2007 at 11:55
FileMaker has released updates to its popular database applications that address an issue with Leopard compatibility.
The updates to FileMaker Pro and Advanced ensure that Instant Web Publishing can now be correctly enabled and disabled. They also fix an issue where the Instant Web Publishing feature might display the wrong value from a value list. In addition, this feature is now compatible with Safari 3 and Firefox 2 running in Leopard.
The FileMaker Pro 9.0v3 and FileMaker Pro 9.0v3 Advanced updaters are a free download from filemaker.com/support/updaters/fm_9.0v3_mac.html.
Skype has released a new beta of its Internet telephony and instant messaging software adding Leopard compatibility - previous versions did not work properly with Leopard's new firewall. Skype 2.7 Beta also supports higher video resolution, up to 640x480 at 25 frames per second.
