Acronis True Image backs up your entire disk in one go, does incremental and differential backups and more.
It allows you to back up (either to schedule or on an ad hoc basis) specified files and folders, your application settings and your emails. With this level of specificity, it's effectively a disk imaging and backup program in one. It's easy to use, offers compression options, and lets you back up to different locations, including FTP sites and network drives.
Some of the new features are a bit underwhelming. The disk privacy and file shredding tools are no better than free ones you can download, and poorly explained. Try&Decide, which lets you roll back software installations, doesn't stay on after a reboot; most programs reboot when installed, so that doesn't make sense. Nevertheless, at this price True Image is the best disk imager.
