If you're not on 3G, your handset may still be able to work as a GPRS modem. Joined-up thinking

The mobile phone and the PC are very different, and in many ways that makes them ideal companions. While the phone slips in a pocket and lasts for days on a battery charge, the PC (even in laptop form) is cumbersome and can't survive long away from the mains. Where the phone interface is frustrating and fiddly, the PC offers the versatility of Windows with a proper keyboard and mouse. Together, they can give you the best of both worlds.
