With this free power on tap, especially if you combine processor and graphics card overclocking, you'd be mad not to give overclocking a try. If you leave the voltage settings alone there's little, if any, damage that can be done. Of course, there are pitfalls. It can be a bit of a lottery, as our graphics card endeavours clearly showed. Overclocking the memory can lead to a corrupted operating system, and overclocking in itself can lead to the occasional unexplained crash. Stick with our 20 per cent limit and you should be fine. In today's financial times, a free speed boost is something we should all be interested in.
