Porn Detection Stick finds illicit images on any Windows PC
Posted on 9 Mar 2010 at 17:41
It's quite possibly the strangest product we've ever heard of, but Paraben's Porn Detection Stick is designed to find illicit images on any Windows PC.
Rather than a bonus for teenage boys with access to lots of people's computers, the USB stick is designed for parents and other concerned parties to detect and remove pornographic images from a PC.
The Porn Detection Stick runs from a USB flash drive and requires no installation. It detects images using a "complex series of algorithms to analyze flesh tones, shapes and curvatures, face detection, body part separation, and more". It's claimed that the detection algorithms are 99 per cent accurate.
The Porn Detection Stick is available in the US now for $100 (around £72).
