Microsoft to show off Internet Explorer 9 tomorrow

UPDATE: Internet Explorer 9 preview has been released.
Microsoft is due to give the first public demonstration of Internet Explorer 9 at its MIX Conference in Las Vegas tomorrow (15th March 2010). The "In-depth look at Internet Explorer 9" session will take place at 1:30pm PDT (20:30pm GMT).
It's widely expected that IE9 will have most of its new features underneath the bonnet, such as support for HTML5, which improves the web languages handling of media files. Other people are hoping that the browser will provide better support for web standards, rather than doing things its own way.
"Please IE9, respect the web standards and provide support for the new ones!" said one comment on the MIX website.
We'll bring you more news on this tomorrow after the briefing.
