Videoseven fills out LCD range
Posted on 1 Oct 2002 at 12:40
V7 Videoseven, a brand of Ingram Micro, is to add 19in and 20.1in LCD displays to its range of monitors.
Using a Samsung PVA Active Matrix TFT, the spec for the 19in offering (pictured) includes a 170 degree viewing angle, 250 cd/m² brightness and a contrast ratio of 500:1. A 25ms response time makes it ideal for gamers, claims Videoseven.
The spec for the 20in display is the same except an MVA Fujitsu Active Matrix TFT is used for the display.
For both models, speakers are built-in and, for connectivity, there's a 15-pin D-Sub port and a DVI interface.
In terms of pricing and availability, the V7 L19CM and V7 L20.1CM displays will be available from November from specialist dealers. The RRP for the V7 L19CM is £629 (including VAT) and it is £939 for the V7 L20.1CM.
