E3 awards revealed

E3 2003 has been, E3 2003 has gone, and now the dust has settled. But which games were the best of the best at the show, running May 14 to 16, according to the Game Critics Awards? As always, these results take a couple of weeks to emerge.
Fourteen different categories were up for grabs, with four to five nominees gunning for the top spot in each category. Ooh, the tension is almost too much...
So, without further ado, here are the official winners:
Best of Show: Half-Life 2 (Valve LLC/VU Games - PC)
Best Original Game: Full Spectrum Warrior (Pandemic Studios/THQ - Xbox/PC)

Best Peripheral/Hardware: EyeToy (SCE - PlayStation 2)

Best Fighting Game: Soul Calibur 2 (Namco - PS2/Xbox/GameCube)
Best Role Playing Game: Fable (Big Blue Box/Microsoft - Xbox)
Best Racing Game: Gran Turismo 4 (Polyphony Digital/SCE - PlayStation 2)
Best Simulation Game: Full Spectrum Warrior (Pandemic Studios/THQ - Xbox/PC)
Best Sports Game: Tony Hawk's Underground (Neversoft/Activision - PS2/Xbox/GameCube)
Best Strategy Game: Rome: Total War (Creative Assembly/Activision - PC)
