Oftel approves price-comparison Web site

uswitch.com, a Web site that offers a price comparison service for telephone services has been awarded the Oftel PASS for accurate and independent information.
The award has a one year term and was won by the Web site for its breadth of services examined, the frequency of price checks and site updates, user-friendly functions such as post-code based price checking, and its customer helpline. The service is also free.
David Edmonds, Director General of Telecommunications said: 'I am pleased to say that there is a lot of high quality information out there to help consumers get the best deal possible. The Oftel PASS will encourage consumers to use that information... I am delighted to award uSwitch.com the Oftel PASS for its excellent price comparison website.'
