LaCie has unveiled a new range of hard drives and DVD and CD writers in elegant new casings by Porsche Design.
Porsche joins a list that includes Phillipe Stark and Neil Poulton of renowned products designers who have been commissioned to style a LaCie range.
'By teaming up with Porsche Design, we are able to bring consumers products that fit their lifestyle' explains George Leptos, UK branch manager. 'This new offering combines the F.A. Porsche tradition of functional design and LaCie's tradition for state-of-the-art technology to create truly unique products.'
The Porsche range comprises a mixture of USB2 and FireWire mobile and desktop hard drives, and DVD and CD writers. The complate range of products and suggested retail prices are listed in this table.
The drives will be available in September.
