Pixar's Mac software; Safari, bookmarks and Firefox, books from blogs

Pixar has released its RenderMan server software for Mac OS X.
The film animation company that shares CEO Steve Jobs with Apple recently moved much of its production team to Power Mac G5s. RenderMan is its advanced 3D rendering server, available to download fromrenderman.pixar.com; Windows and Linux versions are also available.
Gorodon Byrnes has added new features to his popular Safari Enhancer. The utility uncovers several 'hidden' features in Apple's Web browser and version 2.5 adds the ability to configure the history menu and history item limits, to change which search engine is utilised in the Safari toolbar and to preserve special Safari permissions. Safari Enhancer is a free download from www.lordofthecows.com.
A number of notable changes have also been made to Safari Bookmarks Exporter, whichm, as you might have guessed, lets you export Safari's bookmarks for use in other browsers. The new version corrcetly exports URLs that contain ampersands and adds support for Firefox, the new bookmark format used in the latest Camino nightlies, and the 'highly annoying' (SBE's developer's words, not ours) three-file OmniWeb 5 bookmark format. Safari Bookmarks Exporter 1.0.6 is a free download from MacUpdate.
Finally, in what must be the ultimate expression of vanity publishing, a website is offering to publish blogs as bound books. BlogBinders will print up to 580 pages to send to friends or enemies or to sell online from only $0.03 per page: www.blogbinders.com.
