Chief of scandal-hit Computer Associates steps down

Sanjay Kumar, the CEO of Computer Associates has resigned as Chairman and CEO of the scandal hit company. He has also left the main board and stepped into a new position of Chief Software Architect. The company is now actively looking for a new CEO.
Kumar is carrying the can for the scandal whereby revenues due in one quarter of 2000 were reported early so that the company could meet its numbers and bolster the share price on Wall Street. Last week, nine other employees in the legal and finance departments lost their jobs.
