Tune-up and maximise GarageBand
Posted on 7 Jun 2004 at 15:31
Tunemedia has packed 500 GarageBand-compatible Apple Loops into its new Tune-up package.
The loops provide sounds in more than 45 categories, ranging from Dark Bass to Guitar Rock, from Crystal Melody to Strings Grand.
Tune-up for GarageBand costs £19.99 from www.tuneuploops.com. Free demo loops can be obtained from the same website's downloads page.
Apple has provided some tips on maximising GarageBand's performance, particularly if you experience any of the following errors when editing tracks: 'System overload'; 'The hard disk is not fast enough to deliver all audio data in time. Try muting some tracks.'; or 'Disk is too slow.'. GarageBand: Maximizing Performance can be read at www.info.apple.com/kbnum/n93618.
