Dosh puts self-assessment on the Mac
Posted on 23 Jun 2004 at 12:05
Accounting software developers, Dosh Software has released the UK's first income tax self assessment application for Mac OS X, to allow users to complete the 'notoriously complicated' SA100 form quickly and easily.
Features include: automatic page selection, based on an individual's personal circumstances; a clear summary of all completed details; a time-tabled schedule of amounts due to be paid to the Inland Revenue; completion of as many as five separate tax-returns; and comprehensive help files with step-by-step guidance.
Peter Coles Dosh Software's managing director, said, 'Over the last year we've been inundated with requests for self-assessment software for Macs. Our bookkeeping software for Macs, DOSH Cashbook, is incredibly popular and users have asked us to develop a program as simple as this to help tackle personal tax returns.
'We've made sure the program is easily accessible - even to people with no previous experience of self assessment. Ultimately, DOSH Tax will enable users to complete their tax returns in minutes rather than hours.'
Dosh Tax costs £24.00; further information is available at www.dosh.co.uk.
