Tiscali launches cut price business broadband
Posted on 4 Nov 2004 at 15:48
Tiscali has launched a new range of broadband packages for small businesses, including 1GB of email storage, a domain name and 100MB of Web space.
Three options are available: 256Kbps at £15.99 per month; 512Kbps at £19.99 and 1Mbps at £29.99. Activation costs £50, and does not include either a modem or router.
Each includes up to 20 email addresses, with anti-virus and spam filtering, and, as an introductory offer, a static IP address.
On the downside, the contention ratios for the 256K and 512K services are 50:1, although the 1MB is set at 20:1.
'We designed Tiscali Business Broadband as a compelling offer for UK small businesses and business home workers, making the packages very simple to understand and choose from,' said Mary Turner, CEO, Tiscali UK. 'These offer firstly a choice of connection speeds according to the small business needs and secondly we have built in essential services required by a small business.'
