According to the packaging, Trust's 3-7V 100DC Camera Power Adaptor Universal offers camera users a "constant power supply" and "reduces the hassle of using and replacing standard batteries".

However, batteries give cameras their portability and convenience. Plugging one into a wall socket doesn't seem practical, unless you only take photos inside.

The only time it is likely to prove useful is if you lose the charger for your camera. In this case, the four different connectors and switchable output (from three to seven volts) provide a cheap alternative to a branded replacement. Otherwise, you should consider spending the money on spare batteries.
