Posted on 5 Jan 2005 at 11:24
Bulldog has announced 25 per cent cuts in the prices of its '@ctive' 4Mbps broadband and telephone services.
The Inter@ctive service, comprising 4Mbps ADSL, free phone line rental and pay-as-you-go phone calls, drops from £40 to £30 per month. Super@ctive, which includes unlimited calls to UK phone numbers, falls from £52 to £39 per month. Prices for business services have also been reduced.
The cost of transferring a BT line to Bulldog has also been cut to £45. The cuts are available to new sign-ups between 4 January and 31 January 2005 and apply for one year. For more information visit www.bulldogbroadband.com.
Bulldog's owner, Cable & Wireless, is to donate $1m for Tsunami disaster relief in the Maldives, where it has been providing telecoms services since the 1970s. C&W engineers have also been sent to the islands.
'Much of the international aid effort has understandably been focused on Sri Lanka, Thailand and Indonesia,' chief executive Francesco Caio in a statement, 'but the damage to Maldives infrastructure has also been catastrophic and the country needs urgent support.'
