ISP UK Online is offering new signups to its Broadband 8000 service a free Wireless Ethernet router. The offer is open to everyone who signs up before 21 February.
The wireless router, said to be worth around £70 in retail, allows customers to link up to 10 PCs, laptops and consoles to the broadband link from anywhere in the home.
Launched in November last year, Broadband 8000 offers an 8Mbps link via Easynets's unbundled exchange network for £39.99 a month and a £50 installation charge. UK Online says that the network passes more than 4.4 million UK households.
