Microsoft updates Office 2004 for the Mac
Posted on 8 Mar 2005 at 11:36
Microsoft has released a minor update for Office 2004.
The update provides improvements across the entire suite in addition to changes to individual applications.
Problems with the display of PICT images in all applications have been fixed, as has the importing of mono scans from Xerox scanners and all-in-ones.
In Excel, performance when calculating array formulas with user-defined functions has been improved. PowerPoint has greater stability when opening presentations with invalid font data. The update also fixes a memory allocation issue that could cause Office 2004 programs to stop responding when opening documents that contain forms that were created in Visual Basic for Applications. This issue affected users of Adobe Acrobat.
The Microsoft Office 2004 11.1.1 updater is available from www.microsoft.com/mac or via the Microsoft AutoUpdate application.
