Our Rating
The Z5500's control panel has a built-in decoder for Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound, used in movie soundtracks.
At the rear are both optical and coaxial digital inputs, as well as analogue inputs. Together with the built-in decoder, these mean you can connect these speakers to a DVD player, CD player, set-top box or games console, as well as a PC. The hulking subwoofer generates incredibly powerful bass, and the well-built satellites are as adept with gentle music as with action-packed DVDs. Stratospheric volumes are handled with complete composure. The Logitechs are expensive, but gorgeous sounding, and just at home in the lounge as in your PC room.
